What he writes for NCLEX-RN® candidates
Jade NursingPrep™ publishes low-cost, single-topic NCLEX-RN® preparation for pre-licensure nursing students. Each course and each free guide covers one narrow area in depth, starting with laboratory values.
The free guides cover one lab value per page. Each gives the normal range, the critical values, the high-versus-low discrimination, and the priority nursing action.
The teaching method is reasoning before recall. The range is the starting point. The nursing action is the skill. Reference ranges are always framed against the range printed by the student’s own school, textbook, or facility.
Two Jade methods run through the material. The N.U.R.S.E.S. Sequence™ is a six-step method for working a laboratory result from value to action. The ACTS-5™ MicroCycle is a spaced-retrieval study cycle. Optional faith-aligned encouragement is woven through the lessons for students who want it.
